Just a few weeks I use this Laptop was bought by my boss. With a dimension that I think is quite large for the size of a laptop (I used to use a netbook), but has a relatively light weight. I am pleased with the design is so elegant and usually on the safe side with black, plain laptops. Enough to make me wonder is the battery. Its battery life is really good when compared with the 15 "laptops in its class because able to survive up to 2 hours when I worked on my spreadsheet tasks while listening to my fav. Right, so the Toshiba Satellite c660-16R laptop is a well designed product in my opinion. It comes with a 2.2GHZ processor, 2GB RAM,a whopping 640GB HDD and a beautifully crisp 15.6″ Hd Screen. Some of the features this laptop lack in though are the Web camera and Mic. Okay it has them, but they aren t very responsive at all. The mic struggles to pick up my voice (i wonder sometimes if Toshiba actually forgot to put it in there) and the camera looks like something built back in the stone age! it judders from time to time and it always seems like its 2AM due to the darkness! Windows Vista, as this is the only Vista machine I have used, or whether this is just the laptop itself. The laptop along with operating system comes with some Toshiba software for running the webcam and creating recovery discs etc. I suggest you create the recovery discs sooner rather than later as this will be your only way to restore the computer to factory settings. The laptop seems to be very powerful and can cope with large multitasking including writing DVDs, browsing the internet and using graphics software at the same time.
