I bought the Toshiba Satellite Pro A200 in 2008 on-line from Play.com.

At the time, I bought the laptop for £400 - which by today's standard you'd get a quicker processor, more memory and other added features that didn't come with laptops with this price tag back in 2008. Such is technology, though!

Okay, so to the meat and bones of my review:

I was impressed straight away with this laptop. On-line it said it was a widescreen laptop and it most certainly lived up to it's promise. Great for watching movies and films on...which brings me to my next point. The sound from the tiny little speakers is very powerful. Whenever I watched something on my laptop I never found myself plugging in external speakers as the in-built speakers really did the job.

The laptop has little extras, such as 4 USB hubs, a memory card reader and integral webcam - perfect for Skype calls.

As for battery life: I have read varying reviews that speak of only one hour battery life. I found that messing around with battery settings and putting it onto the "Power Saving" setting gave me 2 hours of laptop use before having to plug it in again.

The laptop made promises of Bluetooth capabilities but I never did manage to figure this one out.

Unfortunately, someone stood on my casing and the screen developed a huge big tear down the LCD screen (a common problem with Toshiba laptops!) that I still haven't got round to fixing - but even still, the laptop still runs like a little dream!
