I have had this laptop for the past 5 years and I have not had any major issues with it.
I went for the 1.6 ghz with 2gb of ram which for my needs was perfect at the time. I deejayed with it for the past 4 years so it has had its fair share of damage. However, despite the scratches dents and snaps in the plastic outer casing it still works well.

One of the only problems I have with it is the volume roller on the front and the memory card reader can both be temperamental.
The speakers are loud although the quality is poor at full volume, however still listenable.
After 5 years i have lost 2 keys my right arrow key no longer works but i have managed to replace them fairly cheaply.
Overall:
It is an old model however for the price I would recommend buy one.
