Luckily, the Toshiba can run either Vista or have XP installed (the one I m using is XP Pro ) and has a quick load up time in comparison to some of the other laptops I ve tried. Usually I can plug it in, turn it on, and it s done by the time I ve gone and got my books out ready, or my reading list. The laptop has a card reader that is able to read SD cards as well as Pro Duo cards but the problem with this is that SD cards (not micro SD) are much larger than Pro Duo cards and so the card reader slot is also much larger than the Pro Duo card which when inserted into the slot gets trapped inside.
