After having a HP laptop for sometime converting to a Toshiba i would have thought might be a struggle ....but with Toshiba being the market leader in laptops since i can remember after buying this piece of gear i can see why.. all the features that i have on my HP are are on here.....it seems to me that Toshiba is a victim of gross copy cats! software seems to load and work quicker and the screen is second to none clear and crisp and this is not at the expensive of battery life which again is up there with the best. though is significantly faster if you turn the machine off when charging. The laptop has a card reader that is able to read SD cards as well as Pro Duo cards but the problem with this is that SD cards (not micro SD) are much larger than Pro Duo cards and so the card reader slot is also much larger than the Pro Duo card which when inserted into the slot gets trapped inside. This is what happened to me with the laptop and I had to get the card out using my keys which subsequently damaged the card reader and now only works when it wants to. The laptop has a 250 GB (5400 rpm I think), the hard drives work without any issue and have never crashed in the one and half years ...
