Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-155

Having never owned or really wanted to own a lapotop I received this as part of the AOL internet promotion. Initially I was sceptical as to its performance and for it to be given away for free I was worried it wouldnt be able to perform to the level I required. How wrong I was. I have found its hardware components more than capable of dealing with anything I require it to do, be it listening to music, creating cds, editing images or general internet usage. This laptop is set at an amazing price!it is a great entry laptop for anyone. the hard drive is a decent size however, if you are the type that downloads movies you might want to get your self an external hard drive. the 1GB of ram is standard there's days an is ok however if running vista it can make multi tasking a little harsh on the speed. this laptop has 2 RAM slots allowing it to be upgraded to 2GB, however the current ram cards are 2x 512Mb cards meaning that you will have to get rid of them an replace them with 2x1GB cards if i wish to upgrade that much, it is still possible to upgrade to 1.5GB, however it still wont provide the performance you would be looking ...  Read the complete review
