The Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 is the first laptop i've ever owned so I wasn't 100% sure of what I needed.
What I like about this laptop first off is the look of it. The laptop inside and out is silver with a black keyboard so it looks very stylish.
The screen is 15.4" with a high-gloss, high-definition display. So big enough and clear enough to see all the info you need on a spreadsheet plus good quality on games and DVDs.
It of course comes with wireless capability, has good speed on internet use, and comes with many additional extras that I seem to discover on a daily basis!
A nice bonus on this model is the built in webcam and microphone so great for keeping in contact with friends and family. This laptop is light and not cumbersome at all. Also the base doesn't heat up as you use it, which I've found happens on friends' laptops - not really a good feature for a LAPTOP!
One thing this model doesn't include is a HD memory card slot, which other models do include. But of course you can still upload photos my conecting cameras and mobiles to the laptop, so of all the features it could be missing this for me is not a major one.
Overall good quality, attractive design, numerous features and very good value for money.
