I bought this laptop in the January sales for my girlfriend who was after a new one, as hers was the victim of a nasty soft drink accident. I did a lot of research into various online and high street stores for decent offers and value for money laptops and the Toshiba Satellite L300-1AS was the leading contender by a long shot.

If you're after a reliable machine for business or personal use, this model is a great choice to consider and with a brand you can trust. Toshiba provide a large number of businesses with this range and have won awards for how reliable they can be.

Since buying this laptop in January this year, my girlfriend has had no problems with it. She is a heavy Internet user and has installed on the machine a lot of resource hungry software applications and games such as:

As you can see - the machine is more than capable of running top end applications and games.

If you are buying this laptop for college, university or school work, it is ideal. If you are a business user that plans to use similar applications (such as Adobe software) I would recommend going for a slightly higher spec laptop if you want faster response times so it is not as much of a drain on system resources.
