AVERAGE- ABSOLUTELY (Toshiba Satellite Pro L300D-20R)
Member Name: jimmyranfaz
Advantages: the display and the name- TOSHIBA Disadvantages: Nothing brilliant about it. What a bore. There is simply nothing that stands out in this laptop and is a brilliantly average run-of the mill middle ranged gizmo. First off, though I am a huge fan of AMD processors (for gaming purposes usually), the AMD Athlon dual core 64 is by far ruled over by the Intel Dual Core. Paying 400$ for a mere 2 GB and 160 GB hard disk is in the current market not a very wise thing to do, given the huge spec advantages offered by competitors just 100$ up the price range. There is also no scope of extending the memory if you were considering the option, because believe it or not both the slots are taken and there is no third slot. Probably, the only saving grace is the TruBrite widescreen display, which as usual is a treat to the eyes. Do not buy unless you really do not have any option, which obviously cannot happen!! Summary: Offers nothing special in the price range
