Rating:
This Toshiba laptop is fast, effective and fun. Windows 7 is a great feature and suits the up-to-date look, design and general feel of this laptop. The 15.6" widescreen monitor is the prefect size. The keyboard is the same size as a standard keyboard, which is a great bonus, as I find most laptops have a smaller keyboard. The only general problem / concern I have with this laptop is in regards to the mouse pad. The buttons are, at first, difficult to get used to as you need to apply different amounts of pressures to your click depending on where your fingers are. The closer you are to the other button, the easier it is. The further away, much ... Read the complete review

I have had this model for nearly 4 months now and have mixed feelings about it. The keyboard is great, offering you room to type as normal without accidently hitting the nearby letter, but the mouse buttons have, in my opinion, i very cheap feel to them. Sometimes they just wont respond to your double clicking, which can become very frustrating at times. The large screen is just about right - not too big, not too small. It offers very good resolution which combined with Windows 7 works very well indeed. there is a webcam just above the centre of the screen too which is a common feature of many laptops today but is a very useful one if you enjoy web ... I should clarify.... Overall, this laptop is quite reliable. I was given it by my work brand new about 3 months ago. It is still pretty quick and functioning well. Internet explorer does crash regularly, however I view this as a fault of the software, not the hardware! I do have a few complaints with it. Mainly, the mouse buttons. I tend to use the 'tapping the mouse pad' method of clicking rather than the buttons, so in the time that I've had the laptop the mouse buttons haven't (comparitively) been used very often. However about a month into my use, the left mouse button began to stick, and is REALLY ANNOYING when you're trying to edit things or whatever. ... Read the complete review

I bought this laptop for my husband for a reasonable price a few years ago after his old laptop simply decided to stop turning on at all. On a budget, I looked long and hard for a good laptop that wouldn't set me back too much money and this is what I bought. Pros After all these years, the battery life is still great, providing at least 3 hours. It has a big 250gb hard drive which is enough for most users photos and videos. There are Three USB ports and nice big screen which is clear and easy to read Unlike some laptops, this is light and not too big and doesn't get too hot on your laptop. It comes with webcam and you can tell it has ... Read the complete review
