This fine machine is very popular because the three we had before were sold every quickly. I did not have a chance to get my hand on this lap top until yesterday. I demonstrated Startcraft II to a customer and the video and audio were excellent. In particular, it is Core 2 Duo what worths the money here. Believe me, if you are one of those like me that had a dilemma between the I series professor or AMD or anything else, save that money, because Core 2 Duo is more than enough for high speed demanding tasks with enought RAM. I guess that if you are into multimedia editing of large videos and photos at the same time, then i5 or i7 would be your best choice. But for most of us that will never take full advantage of this kind of processor, it is just not worth it.
The keyboard is very good, and in my opinion has no keyboard flex. The laptop does not weigh as much as it appears to weigh, one of my friends bought one for her girlfriend who is a very skinny girl, and she carries it to campus everyday without a soar shoulder. The sound out of the speakers is very crisp, it is also pretty loud if need be. One big factor that makes me value this laptop 4 out of 5 is the battery life, I got almost 5 hours with 8 tasks running at the same time.
Last but not at least, bigger and brighter screen just full filled everything I ask for a perfect laptop.
I do have a problem with this laptop, which is why on earth the manufacture pre-loaded so many useless soft wares. Every time I turn the machine on in the morning, the annoying pop up shows up and updates itself.
Overall, it is a decent machine with fair price, if you do not require heavy duties such as video editing, 3d model etc on regular basis, this one is perfect for you.
