came to downloading a program or having several things open to do different work on, it froze or did not respond for at least ten minutes! This Laptop is worse than my old one because at least my old one crashed but recovered the programs rather than deleting them. Im actually still tempted to go back to using my old one which although got incinerated, probably still works faster than this. Having one program open it works brilliantly but if you open more than one and even dare to do any work, it cannot cope! I ve owned this Laptop for two years and have had very few problems. The design is sleek. There is a generous keyboard and the touchpad is ergonomically friendly. The built-in web cam could give higher resolution but is sufficient for Skype or IM. The screen brightness when plugged in does not aggravate the eyes, but there is a significant drop in brightness if you run the laptop off the battery. This laptop comes with a DVD writer and ample USB ports including a high-speed port. Processing speed is ample for a student turned teacher.
