I m going to get straight to the point: what went wrong? I now have a lovely Macbook that works, but my previous Laptop - the A60 - was absolutely the most awful laptop in the world. Apart from being extremely bulky it was also noisy. I thought that the more room inside the cooler it would be. Obviously not. I could sit in a car going down the motorway and i would still hear it bellowing out above everything else. The noise was created by a fan that is supposed to cool a powerful processor - note that the machine was still far too hot to have on my lap. The power, however, never really came. experience, but... I have had this computer for 2 years, so my opinion has to be worth something right!? Let me start from the begining, I purchased my Toshiba A60 laptop from PC world in January 05. The numbers seemed pretty high and decent for the ghz, ram, hd etc. As you can see I really am not a computer whizz! Adding to that the very handsome sales assistant had a certain way of making me believe I could not live without this laptop, perhaps if he had been less pretty I wouldn t have brought it... who ...

m fairly new to laptops having been used to working with PCs for most of my student and working life. My boyfriend and I received a second hand Toshiba Satelite Pro my his parents after they decided to upgrade and buy something a bit lighter and more powerful, I know know why they wanted to get rid of it! I cant comment on the value for money of this laptop as we recieved it as a gift but with regards to power, it s fairly crap. Once the laptop is turned on it takes anything from 2-20 minutes to fire up and get going, yes it once took 20 minutes! it has such a poor processor and low memory that it struggles to get going (much like me first thing in the morning) Once ...
