I have used the toshiba u400 for about 2 months now. What I liked was the value for money as with it being a 13.3" laptop they are usually very expensive from companies like sony. The toshiba u400 is lightweight at about 2kg with good battery life at approximately 3 hours (although this could be better).

In my experience the build quality has been very good and I have not had any problems as yet, it does get a bit hot but they so do most laptops.

The screen and glossy keyboard are great looking. The computer is very fast and wifi and built-in bluetooth are a great addition. The one I used also had a nice built in webcam.

Overall I believe the toshiba u400 to be great value for money when considered with it's size and features compared to other big name companies like sony or samsung as you are getting a brand name and quality for a good price.
