and boy does this deliver! I m usually moving about a lot, but when I sit down, I want to get to what I want quickly. Luckily, the Toshiba can run either Vista or have XP installed (the one I m using is XP Pro) and has a quick load up time in comparison to some of the other laptops I ve tried. Usually I can plug it in, turn it on, and it s done by the time I ve gone and got my books out ready, or my reading list. The keyboard is a good size, although some of the buttons are a little close for my speed-typing, but would work for more casual users. going around the edge of the laptop makes it look a lot sleeker than it actually is, its an optical illusion that tricks the eye and just shows how serious Toshiba actually are about the designs of their laptops. The built in ram in this laptop is ok, its not really anything special but it will do for most. It has just 1gb of ram, however which can make it seem sluggish when trying to run demanding software which takes quite a while to load, and when trying to play the newest games, this laptop really didn t respond all that well either.
