Toshiba Satellite P300-1BN ... am writing this review from this laptop, and let me tell you, it is very good. The large amount of RAM is perfect for running multiple programs at once, I can run a large graphics software, lots of internet tabs, Google earth and a few more programs without it stuttering. It can cope with anything you throw at it (apart from water =]) It is also very quiet, and it doesn t randomly start whirring like some laptops. This laptop, for its prices would be a perfect laptop for use around the home, maybe at university. Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300 ... in the day this was an amazing laptop - I had (and still use for the internet and word processing) the version with Windows 2K (still capable of running XP) with 256Mb RAM and a 16Gb HD. The laptop runs great, it is fast for a laptop of it s specs. It comes with a DVD drive and CD writer, which is very good for backing up files and the laptop is more than capable of watching movies. The hard disk space is a little small, but if you have a USB key and CDs then you can just back up stuff and still have easy access to it.
