Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 ... much searching and review reading, I chose this laptop. I wasn t disappointed! It comes with Windows Vista (which I was a little uncertain of at first, as I d heard bad reports) and has enough memory and processing power to run the majority of programs. The initial start-up procedure was a little long winded, but that s down to Microsoft I presume as you need to set up Vista with your preferences, etc. Once up and running I installed Office and was soon happily writing in Word. I was a little curious to see how well it would cope with a game or two, so copied over World of Warcraft from my PC. Once I was logged in, I was surprised to find that it actually hand... Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 ... has to be said that Toshiba are really efficient when it comes to laptop computers because they are great laptops at bargain prices. This laptop has great specs for the money and is ideal for anyone that is new to laptops or even for someone that uses them for work purposes. When purchasing a laptop computer you need to decide what the laptop is going to be used for and then you must decide if the spec suits your needs. The Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 is the first laptop i ve ever owned so I wasn t 100% sure of what I needed. What I like about this laptop first off is the look of it. The laptop inside and out is silver with a black keyboard so it looks very stylish. The screen is 15.4" with a high-gloss, high-definition display. So big enough and clear enough to see all the info you need on a spreadsheet plus good quality on games and DVDs.
