Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 ... have these as part of my Job. We tend to downgrade these to XP using a supplied downgrade disc. The laptops are of excellent build quality, and very rarely go wrong. the hard disc has plenty of space, screen is crystal clear, and speed is more than adequate. Battery life is good lasting roughly 2 Hours of constant use before you are needing to recharge. coming with 1GB ram they are more than capable of running most software, as long as your not wanted to play the VERY latest games. My only gripe would be the keyboard on this and indeed previous models of the Satellite this has been a week point (and working in a school you get to know all the week points of the machin... Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 ... got this laptop as a gift for my 21st and being an Administrator work with a lot of computers on a daily basis. I feel this Toshiba Satellite is by far the best laptop I have worked with so far. I feel it has all the needs and features which I am looking for. It continues Windows Vista which is the most up to date Windows package to date. It is easily connected to internet and is WiFi Certified. It is easily managed and mainted and is not complicated to work. Its has great speakers for sound when this is required on the laptop. It is a good sized screen for those who like the bigger screen when dealing with laptops. I feel its packages would suit a wide variety of peopl... Toshiba Satellite M40-265 ... quality to the eye looks very good. It has a 15.4 inch screen an 80GB hard drive and the lap top is quite heavy and sturdy with a fair amount of metal used on its exterior. I purchased it new paying about £500. At the time that I bought it this was a mid range lap top specification wise but above the average price in its class. I paid the extra money because I thought, I don t know why, that Toshiba was a superior brand and would therefore give me better value for money and a more consistent level of performance. Having had it for a while and also having had other makes during the same period I would never buy a Toshiba again based on my experiences with this one. ...
