... have owned Toshiba Tecra M3 since I was in college 3-4 years ago. The laptop is very light and have great hard disk size of 80g. I wouldn t say that this is 100% reliable. Maybe about 85% which isn t bad. On my first year, I had problems with the keyboard not being able to type properly until i brought it to Toshiba using the 3 year warranty. Toshiba Satellite Pro L300D-20R ... bought this Toshiba laptop one and half years ago ,but i wouldn t say this laptop is the best but good compare to others i have used before. The use of it is normal,it has the required tasks needed for a computer .The speed is quite good when using this laptop . This is the same laptop i am am using now ,it comes with windows vista ,a really good size of screen .This laptop has a lot a features and a really good security system .The keyboard is really easy to use . This laptop can be transported with you anywhere you like as it has a light weight. Toshiba Satellite Pro L300D-20R ... its not slow either. The hardware is of a good quality from good suppliers. It does have some spam software pre-installed, mainly stuff from Google which annoyed me. On first boot you have to install the software from its harddrive, no dvd is supplied, and following this you should burn recovery disks with which to reinstall the hard disk should you lose the factory installed stuff. Its a shame Toshiba could not ship a dvd with the product to save you from doing it yourself. Beware the high Toshiba charge for the Free Windows 7 upgrade which is not free at all and will cost you nearly £30! Other manufacturers are only charging postage for this so Toshiba are ripping u... Toshiba Satellite Pro L300D-20R ... a bore. There is simply nothing that stands out in this laptop and is a brilliantly average run-of the mill middle ranged gizmo. First off, though I am a huge fan of AMD processors (for gaming purposes usually), the AMD Athlon dual core 64 is by far ruled over by the Intel Dual Core. Paying 400$ for a mere 2 GB and 160 GB hard disk is in the current market not a very wise thing to do, given the huge spec advantages offered by competitors just 100$ up the price range. There is also no scope of extending the memory if you were considering the option, because believe it or not both the slots are taken and there is no third slot.
