... Toshiba L30 laptop is really excellent! It is silver on the outside (Lid) and black on this inside. It really does have a nice finish to it. It has a very clear 15.4" widescreen screen and everything is easy to find as is simple to use. There is a DVD/RW Multi drive which is really fantastic, it is fast and reliable. Toshiba Satellite L10-154 ... laptop in my opinion is fantastic! it has its bad point aswell, such as getting very hot and sound quality but it is very nice and modern and has a nice display. I am writing the review on it now! This laptop can easily be picked up now for £200. I would advise you get it for desktop publishing and word proccessing ect... Out of 10 I would rate it as 7. I am now looking for a Toshiba L30 or a Toshiba A100. Sticking to the great brand Toshiba. Toshiba Satellite A100-495 ... have had a Toshiba laptop for about 2 months now. I have had no trouble with it (apart from the usual Vista problems) The design is sleek and lightweight and looks great, and the screen is big enough to watch a DVD on comfortably. The battery lasts for ages and gives you pleanty of warning if it is getting low. Downloading is quick and easy and installing software is straightforward. Toshiba Satellite Pro M40 ... easy&reliable, an excellent laptop with decent size screen. Downsides: battery lasts only an hr on its own. Also after 1 year it overheats, (common problem with Toshiba). Has only ever cut out once & has cooled down since. V good for people who like me only use word, oneNote, powerpoint, internet, indesign. Not good for a lot of media which take up a lot of space & slows p.c. down. No dvd rewriter. A bit heavy to carry around also. There are 4 USB ports which is handy. I think it s a good buy, especially for the price I got... so look online!...
