... this laptop for about 6 months. Pros of this laptop are that it virtually never gets hot and so can be used for ages. I also looks great with the gloss white finish. Also has 3g data card built in which is very handy. The screen is LED backlit which is great as it greatly reduces eye strain. Toshiba Satellite Pro U400 ... have used the toshiba u400 for about 2 months now. What I liked was the value for money as with it being a 13.3" laptop they are usually very expensive from companies like sony. The toshiba u400 is lightweight at about 2kg with good battery life at approximately 3 hours (although this could be better). In my experience the build quality has been very good and I have not had any problems as yet, it does get a bit hot but they so do most laptops. The screen and glossy keyboard are great looking. The computer is very fast and wifi and built-in bluetooth are a great addition. The one I used also had a nice built in webcam. Overall I believe the toshiba u400 to be g... Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-153 ... a student, I required a cheap and reliable laptop and the Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-153 has turned out to be nothing less. I previously owned a sony vaio, thinking I required a high spec laptop, but I managed to spill water on it and it went bust within its first month, and the damage wasnt covered by its guarantee! This toshiba has yet to let me down, I have had it for over 3 months, filled with music and documents and it has not slowed at all, fulfilling all my needs. The large 120Gb memory has proved to be more than enough and but I would consider increasing the 1Gb ram if the laptop is required for any creative use or gaming. Toshiba Satellite L350-145 ... ve had this computer for a few days now and I think it is great. Very simple to use, programmes and applications run quickly and smoothly, and it s also very attractive! However, it does take quite some time to load up when you turn it on (around 1 minute 30, which is actually a long time when you are watching a blue screen waiting for something to happen!). Battery life is around two hours, which is the same as most other laptops, I think. Good quality screen, and the webcam is excellent. The computer comes with Microsoft Works already installed, along with a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office, but I personally feel that Works is sufficient enough anyway. I compared man...
