Brother HL 1230

I have now owned three different Brother Laser printers and I have certainly never regretted the day I obtained my HL-1230. I find it good for small and medium size jobs, while I have used an HP4 for my large jobs. (Maybe more on another review later for the HP.) Overall, great for jobs other than high volume office use as it is not super fast normally putting out about 10-12 pages per minute depending on what you are printing. This is the average for the high quality (600x600dpi). You can print photo details, but alas not in colour. The quality of the print can be varied to safe on toner which overall is not cheap. Having just started out in a new career, I was advised by one of my tutors to think about investing in a Laser printer. I have to print a lot of CVs and Letter to try and get myself work.
