The HL-2240D is one of quite a few printers I work with. The tray holds 250-sheets of paper and prints in black and white, which is fine for what I use it for, printing off letters and labels. Compared to older laser printers which are huge and take up a lot of space, the HL-2240D is pretty neat and compact measuring 14 inches long X 14 inches wide X 7 inches high. It's not much to look at, because apart from some small LEDs and one button on the front, and being black/grey in colour it's a pretty emotionless looking machine. The Brother HL 2240D is a printer that is used within my work place. It is a fast, efficient and relatively quiet laser printer which is ideal for use within the work place or home office. In work I use the Brother HL 2240D mainly for printing letters and multiple page reports. One excellent feature of the printer is it is able to print on both sides of a sheet of paper automatically. The printer is a decent size and a lot smaller than the other, albeit older, laserjet printers we have within the office.
