Canon Color LBP 400

Canon Color LBP 400 ... successful Color Laser Copiers to a color laser printer. Electronics for Imaging's fiery controllers, which provide the connectivity for Canon's CLC range, has been the key to producing a color laser printer that meets the demands of business users.

It has been designed to bridge the gap between Canon's range of hugely successful color BubbleJets and Color Laser Copiers. The LBP 400 utilizes a revolutionary new print engine from Canon which allows you to print on to a very wide range of output media, including embossed stationery, labels, envelopes, overhead transparencies and glossy film. For added versatility, there is even the option of an Automatic Duplex Unit, enabling you to generate double-sided prints. The printer uses a new type of toner whose spherical particles contain microscopic beads of wax. These ensure that color is evenly dispersed at the moment the toner is fused to the paper, eliminating the need for fuser oil. Rip while Print and Continuous Print optimizes performance allowing engine speed output to be realized for multi paged documents. Standard RAM memory combined with STARR memory compression ensures that virtually all PostScript job can be printed, regardless of its size or complexity. Memory can be expanded to 192MB improving the efficiency of the Rip while Print feature on complex multi page documents.
