      Great All Rounder

      Hey, ExpertReviewer here.

This Dell laser printer is an all round good printer, for basic home and office use.

It of course is very accurate, like all modern day printers, and I myself have never found there to be any ink spillages, or inaccuracies during printing. The colour reproduction is very good and strong, which is an added bonus for the accurate printer. The printer easily handles and copes with all tones of colours, from deep blues, dark reds and extremely deep blacks, it seems to handle them all flawlessly. Great for anyone who wishes to print high quality images or even just text, and wishing for a nice, crisp, deep text.

The styling and design of this printer is very basic, but sleek and beautiful in its own way, similar to many other Dell printers in the same range. The printer is very cubical with squared off edges and square features all over it. It is finished with a matt black paint job, which is the usual for these Dell printers, and it adds an overall quality and professional look to the printer. The input tray has a capacity of approximately 150 sheets of paper, which is plenty of paper for one refill, so you shouldn't need to be constantly scrounging around for paper in your draws. (Unless your daily routine involves printing 10's of sheets of paper a day!) The simple 5-button control panel is hidden away in the top left corner of the printer, but once you have located it, it is simple and easy to use. Having just 5 buttons means that you are unlikely to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of buttons sprawled across the control panel, as is the case with some other printers.

The print speeds are definitely adequate, as I've found that it shoots out pages of text in matter of a couple of seconds, whilst images can take quite a bit longer.

Whilst the printers colour reproduction is fantastic, enabling you to print wonderful looking images, it lacks a dedicated photograph printing mode, slightly reducing the capabilities in terms of photograph printing. This is a slight shame as the printer could really benefit from having this setting included.

The ink cartridges that can be simply inserted into this printer are large enough, meaning, like the paper, you will not find yourself spending hours searching the internet for the cheapest cartridges you can find, as cartridges are always expensive. (Small tip, there are companies out there that will purchase your empty ink cartridges from you, paying up to £5 for them. Heres one of them --> www.cashforcartridges.co.uk)

This printer is a genuinely good buy if you are looking for a good all round printer with a reasonable price. The best aspects are the great colour reproduction, the simple control panel and the modern looking design. Slightly let down by the lack of photo settings, but hey, you cant have it all.
