Fitted with a 266Mhz RISC Processor together with a class leading engine capable of printing speeds up to 6ppm color and 26ppm mono, the AcuLaser C8500 prints at an effective resolution of 2400dpi. Developed by the world's leader in color printing, extremely high quality is achieved through EPSON's unique AcuLaser Color Technologies. The standard paper input of 400 sheets can be boosted to an impressive 1400 sheet capacity through different configurations featuring one or two 500-sheet paper cassettes, whilst the optional duplex unit enables double sided printing up to A3. Furthermore, full A3W paper input ensures that is possible to print true edge-to-edge A3 prints. Optional true Adobe PostScript 3 is also available for more advanced color matching and for printing EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) files. Additional standard features include Send Once Print Many technology. A flexible printer driver with in-built EPSON Status Monitor 3 provides important printer status, consumables and media information directly to the user's workstation. The EPSON AcuLaser C8500 range, like all EPSON network printers, can be easily configured and managed remotely using EPSON network management system tools and plug-ins for Novell NDPS, HP WebJetAdmin and HP Openview.
