The advanced color laser controller incorporates a 64Bit RISC processor running at 133Mhz and 64Mb of SDRAM, together with dedicated ASICs for the control of halftoning and Color Management functions.

AcuLaser Color Halftoning technology allows the printer to operate in two distinct modes outputting high quality, full color images optimized for business documents containing graphical images or continuous tone images such as photographs. Capable of producing high quality prints at high speed, the EPSON ColorPage EPL-C8000EN is available network ready with advanced color printer drivers. Standard paper handling includes a 150-sheet multi purpose tray, designed for paper up to A3W in size and 220g/m in weight and also a 250-sheet paper cassette, capable of handling paper up to A3 in size and 105g/m in weight.
