What do you look for in a printer? All the technical specifications and performance claims come to nothing if it does not do the job for you. I look for a good reproduction of the image/document, quick response to a print request, straight forward user menus and reliable in operation.
The HP Colour Laserjet CP3505 has certainly delivered all the above in spade fulls and is reasonably quite; it goes into a sleep mode within 10-15 seconds. Two paper feed trays is very useful for us, one for letterheads and the main tray for plain paper. Cartridge life has been good so far.
A local network of eight PCs has access to the HP printer, it involved each user in downloading a piece of software but this was a straightforward process and we were up and running in no time. Most importantly the documents produced are of excellent quality thus this printer is designated as are "best" use option, we do have available an older HP series 1200 for general internal documents but, if we are printing a quote or tender for a customer, the CP series Laserjet is our choice.
