From the moment that I removed this printer from within is cardboard prison and plugged it into my laptop, I have been nothing short of happy with this product. For an incredibly small initial purchase price, I have received a printer which caters for pretty much my every mono-printing need. Sure the added feature of being able to produce double sided documents would have been a lovely addition, as would stapling, however these are things which tend to exist in much pricier products, and frankly, my pocket wouldn't have been able to cope! The HP Laser Jet 1018 laser printer is by far one of the best budget black and white laser printers I have used. I print a lot of invoices for my business; all my paper work is done on this system as well. My Inkjet was running out of ink all the time, I had tried cheaper ink cartridges and even those easy refill kits as well but as I always printer in black and white I had a look online to see what was available in the laser printer world.
