I was looking for a printer for home. I print out a bits and pieces now and then at home - I probably would be classified as a medium user. I have worn out two inkjet printers and decided to upgrade a bit and go for speed and ease - but only black an white. So I was trying to makeup my mind about what printer to buy, there is a dizzying array of cheap entry level laser printers. Some promising good print quality, some fast, some cheap, some low power. There are ones that look like inkjets. But then I thought about all the offices I have worked in, and there has been a few and they nearly all have had HP laser printers in them. I have very rarely seen any other ones. They always seem very reliable and have always produced good quality print outs. So the choice was made to go for a HP, I avoided the cheaper models because I do not like sheetfeeders, they get blocked up easier and the paper kets dusty and bent. The printer was very easy to set up and install, and there have been no problems at all with it. A nice feature is the IR receiver - I can easily print something from my palm or my mobile phone now. The only fault is that when I am printing out a lot of stuff, i.e. more than 30 pages or so, the printer gets very hot and the cheap and nasty paper that I use (well the paper is not that bad - probably medium quality) starts to curl up quite a lot. which then gets pushed onto the floor and mixed up.
The HP LaserJet 2100 series printers are designed for people who demand uncompromising quality in everything they do and have a sharp eye for value. Most impressive is the true 1200 x 1200 dpi laser output, the highest in their class, which creates documents that demand attention with crisp, razor-sharp text and stunning graphics. There's also the HP UltraPrecise Toner Cartridge for sharper text and graphics plus exceptional grayscale for compelling graphic images. Each page you print will impress you and your audience!
