The InfoPrint 1811 offers the flexibility to change most printer settings from your software application, the printer driver or the printer's operator interface. The printer's operator interface has a two-line by 16-character liquid crystal display (LCD), six buttons and one indicator light. Use the buttons to open a menu, scroll through a list of values, change printer settings and respond to printer messages. The LCD operator panel presents more than 50 easy-to-understand messages such as "close door", "toner low", or "load manual feeder". From the operator interface, you can select menu items and associated values to help print your jobs successfully. Select the print media using the Paper Menu. Use the Finishing Menu to define how the printer delivers output - collated, with borders, or multi-page images on one page.

You can save paper with standard duplex printing. The InfoPrint 1811 is made with paint-free covers so it can be recycled. With higher ship with and aftermarket toner levels, plus a cartridge return program, fewer cartridges are used and less packaging goes to landfills. The "Eco-mode" option is designed to reduce power consumption. The rapid warm-up fuser saves energy and reduces cost.
