I bought this printer based on my experience with a Konica Minolta 2300 DL-which was superb in both quality and running costs. The 4650 DN has not matched the quality or the running costs of the 2300 DL. I have had problems with paper jamming and printer driver issues, which meant the printer would sometimes not print unless I pressed the menu button. I use high quality 120 g/m2 laser paper as I have photos in my printed reports

I do not understand why the price in the United States of replacement toners and drums are half the UK price. Given that they are more than likely to be made in the same factory in China why is this? Konica are screwing us, that why! As the US electric supply Voltage is 120V they will not work in the UK/Ireland at the chips are 120V and will blow if used in a 220V machine-so buying in from the US is not an option.

My printer is a year old and now I am getting black smudges on the paper-it seems the Fuser unit is contaminated-£200 to replace. It is actually cheaper for me to buy a new printer-take all the consumables out and chuck away the printer than buy replacement rollers and drum units. Why is this!

I will never ever buy Konica Minolta products again as their entire modus operandi is to sell products that don't deliver on the promised quality and to rip off the consumer with expensive replacement consumables. The 2300 DL was magic-the 4650 tragic!
