The Lexmark C534 is an impressive looking piece of kit.
But as a printer it has some issues amongst its good points that I would like to address.
First of all, it is bulky. This machine will take up over a sq foot in length and almost 3ft high, so i would not recommend it for home use unless thats where your office is.
Secondly, it is fairly expensive to run with the lowest price of cartridge being just shy of £75 and it goes through them fairly fast in comparison to inkjet printers or other slower printers.
It is also loud, and slightly obnoxious in that it performs a systems check every hour or so which is punctuated by a loud whining/whirring noise that fills the room for about 15 seconds.
On the plus side though, it can be fairly good value for money, particularly if you need to print a lot of pages and fast, a single sheet will take less than 2 seconds to print, or about 3 seconds double sided, no matter the quality.
It comes with two trays meaning less refills.
There is a digital display, with backlight to allow easy control and the keypad is a fairly straight forward directional buttons and big tick button affair.
For office and company work this printer excels but I would not have it on all the time in my home and I keep it out of sight unless I really need it.
