The Optra S 1855 has a speedy 18 page-per-minute monochrome output, 1200 dpi resolution, and it's ready to print in 10 seconds. It will print labels, transparencies, envelopes, card stock and letterhead. It accepts up to legal-sized paper, and comes with one 250-sheet and one 100-sheet multipurpose feeder. Optional 250-, 500- and 2,000-sheet paper trays are available. The output tray holds 250 sheets and has a sensor that indicates when it is full. The included black toner cartridge yields up to 7500 pages. The printer has a 65,000-page / month duty cycle.

This sturdy printer has a LCD information display for printer instructions and status. Collated output prints are accessible from the front, and trays and toner are easy to reach for loading and replacement. The Optra S 1855 is powered by a 133 MHz NEC 4300-133 RISC processor and comes with 4 MB memory, which can be upgraded to 132 MB with optional SIMMs. A 2.1GB hard drive option is also available.
