==Intro== I bought this printer as a replacement for my inkjet printer, this was my first laser printer and it had been the only one for over 2 years now. ==Design== The design is squarish in white and rather modern looking. The paper tray is a flippable cover at the front. Once you flip it down, you can then place paper on it and there is another tinted cover to go over the paper tray. The printed materials will be coming out on top of the machine and there is an extended support to hold in place the printed paper. ==Tech Bits== This is a mono laser printer meaning that you can only print things in balck ... What can you say? For £50 it's a bargain for a laser printer. And there is no evidence of corner cutting of cheapness. The unit is extremely well built and feels very sturdy, there is no chance of this thing breaking down in a hurry. When you open compartments and fit the toner there is a satisfy "clank" of quality. The toner itself it, predictably, the same price as the printer but can manage about 3000 pages. This is a very good page count and great value for money no matter how you look at it. The ease of use is quite something. You just plug it in switch it on and your off, whack the USB in you computer and (if like me) your computer will detect ... Read the complete review

The Samsung ML 160 mono laser printer has to be the cheapest laser printer ever! The only downside is that its only a mono printer and whilst the supplied cartrudge does seem to last for ages when it does run out you will find that it's rather expensive to buy a replacement cartridge - in fact it costs as nearly as much for the cartridge as it did for the printer in the first place! Having said that I did manage to source some replacement cartridge filler on ebay at a fraction of the cost . The only problem then is you have to refill the existing cartridge which can be somewhat fiddly and a bit messy as you end up with ink powder everywhere. I was also a bit dubious ... I have two similar printers - ML1610. I can tell you, it is the one for any SOHO workers. I rely on them to print my notes although photocopying may be cheaper, but the time and money wasted there would be quite a shock! As I can set the 'toner save' function, there will be quite a saving too. Of course, this is an inexpensive monochrome laser printer, so don't expect it to print some very cool shades of colours! If the documents used fonts with light colours, expect the printer to print that lightly and with the 'toner save' function on, you may not even be able to read the printed words! Yes, I also like the automation and ease of use ... Read the complete review
