My mum asked me for ideas for stocking fillers at Christmas, and I told her I needed a new concealer. I expected her to just pick me up something from Boots, but instead she asked my sister to tell her the name of a good concealer and my lovely sister replied "Laura Mercier". Laura Mercier's skin products often receive rave reviews in magazines. Her "secret camouflage" concealer is considered by beauty editors and make-up artists to be the best, and I've read so many good reviews of her tinted moisturiser that I'm quite tempted to try it out. When I saw this little concealer in my stocking, I was very pleased to see its face, because now I ... Read the complete review

I have unsightly eyes. This is due to the long hours I work, staring at the computer screen and having late nights. As a result my eyes lack radiance, they look tired and I have dark shadows. I do use eye cream but I need something that will cover my veins and dark circles. I have learnt one fact that there is no make up in the world which will give you 100% coverage and will look natural at the same time. The natural looking concealers do not (usually) have a lot of coverage and the high coverage concealers make your eyes look dry and caked. I walked past the Laura Mercier counter in Selfridges (again I need a slap on my wrist), a young and stylish ... Read the complete review

In the last couple of years I have started to develop some dark circles under my eyes. Even when I make sure to drink plenty of water and get enough sleep they are still there, so all I can do is try to cover them. I have tried quite a few different concealers with varying levels of success. I first tried Laura Mercier's Secret Concealer in Sephora in America where I asked an assistant to test out a few different products on me in an attempt to find one with a good consistency and lasting power which was a good match for my skin tone. I was not sure if this was really as good as the assistant seemed to think, because he had just taken my makeup off with a ... Read the complete review

Laura Mercier is truly the Queen of creating perfect skin and the Secret Concealor is no exception! I have very dark circles under my eyes so was more than happy to try this. I worked as a Laura Mercier make-up artist so had the privilege of trying a lot of her products. Firstly I love the cute little pot. Secondly I love the creamy consistency of this concealor. It is best applied with a brush due to the way it is packaged (in fact take a tip from a pro ladies you will always get better coverage if you use a brush to apply your concealor - its more precise and you use less product so it lasts longer). The concealor has light reflective properties and goes on ... Read the complete review

I have really dark circles under my eyes and have spent a long time trying to find the perfect cover up. Having tried many brands all to no avail I read about Laura Merciers Secret Concealer and thought it worth a try. It comes in a cute little pot which is easy to carry around. I was recommended shade 1 the palest. I was quite surprised about how orange it is but once over the dark shadows it blends with my skin tone well. Don't be fooled by the size of the pot as the concealer itself is only in the top half. Not as much in there as I thought there would be. My only criticism is that it really creases and that looks almost worse than the dark ... Read the complete review
