Advantages: SPF 20, even coverage, smells nice, no shine.... pretty much everything!
Disadvantages: other greasy skin suffers may want to try oil free version! expensive!
I was given this by a friend who said it didn't look right on her skin and thought it might look better on mine. It was very generous, considering how much she'd paid for it but pretty good for me because I've lately been looking for a light foundation and good moisturizer, which is pretty hard as I have greasy and very pale skin. The shade is called 'Porcelain' which is the lightest.
So the next morning I did my usual skincare routine and applied this before putting on my makeup. It helped even my skin tone out and gave me a bright, glowy look! I was so amazed because it didn't look overly coloured and didn't feel heavy at all, my face also felt very soft. I only used concealer and powder on top of this and bit of Benetint cheek stainer. I've read on here that you should apply your usual moisturizer and a primer before using this tinted moisturizer as it stays better but I found it to work perfectly fine without for me.
Through out the day I regularly checked my face to see if it had changed because I was sure I would end up greasy half way through with weird patches, especially as it's been that horrible muggy weather lately that makes my face melt! However I was fully surprised to find my face stayed exactly how I had left it in the morning, looking bright and awake (I got so excited by this because I usually swear by a matte look because everything makes my face greasy!), even up until I took it off! I did top up my t zone with powder a few times though, half because it's a paranoid habit I have and half because my nose will never not get a slight shine it seems!
I also love that this moisturizer is SPF 20 for an added bonus and you can't smell a hint of that nasty sun lotion smell like you can in many others which really puts me off using them.
I know there is an Oil Free version of this which I thought would be better suited to me as I have oily skin but I found this regular one to work very well although I would still be interested to try out the oil free one.
The only problem I have found is that I find it difficult to judge how much to squeeze out meaning I end up wasting some. I'm also not a great fan of the packaging as it looks boring cheap but the product works so well I don't mind too much plus it's a great size that fits in my makeup bag easily.
Obviously mine has been used a bit before me and I'm not sure how long it's going to last me because I really will be using it everyday but I think as soon I run out I will definitely purchase another bottle. It is very expensive but I think as it works as a moisturizer, foundation alternative, sun protection AND doesn't make you shiny it will be cheaper in the long run.
Summary: Amazing product, moisturises, sun protection and even coverage with no shine!!
