hallryu Honda HRG 465 SD: ... guide the mower where you want it. It produces beautiful stripes, if that s what you want or just a well manicured lawn if you don t. My wife thinks this is brilliant and declared it a triumph. My wife is only small but can handle this mower easily. Because it has a Honda engine you know its bullet proof. It is a very good looking product. As my first petrol lawn mower I am very happy with this product. Overall i...

... then the best ones use an induction motor. This takes a few seconds to get up to speed, but then have a lot more torque than the universal electric motors that are used in cheaper mowers. This means their cutting performance is better, even at a lower power rating. However, when I was shopping around for a lawnmower, electric mowers with induction motors cost the same as I ended up paying for a Honda petrol mower. The good things about a petrol-engined mower are the power so the grass gets cut cleanly and wheeched into the grass box on the first pass. With an electric mower, you may need to go over the same bit several times, which takes time. With a petrol mower you...

... spending years struggling with an electric mower and then a petrol Flymo that kept breaking I was determined to get a mower that would start first time, every time! When Honda launched their Eco range a coule of years ago I knew I had to get one. Not having a massive amount of grass I didn't need self propelled machine and the entry model is a 16" rotary just right for my needs. Having used it for two seasons now it is pure joy to wheel it out, pull the cord and cut the grass. The grass bag is huge and the cut quality very crisp, adjustable in height as well. Best of all it's quiet... compared with the cacophony that erupts in the neighbourhood w...

... mowers are reknowned as heavy cumbersome beasts. I know I have pushed one for the summer. They are cumbersome, heavy and always breaking down besides which the bags always split. If you want a decnt mower, and price is not an issue and you want a decent lawn mower you can do far worse than a self propelled petrol Mower. The best one that I used at Hillcrest was a Hayter. It gave an absolutely effortless cut. All You had to do was point it in the right direction and it did the rest. Even on a wet lawn it did the business. The normal life expectancy of a mower used constantly like they were is no longer than a season. These things went on and on for about 3 years!!! ...
