Advantages: Good price
Disadvantages: May not last as long as a more expensive model
We have recently moved into our own house after renting privately where the lawnmower was provided, so we needed to invest in a new one.
Our house is very small and so is our garden, so the lawn that needs cutting is about 3-4 metres square. Based upon this we decided it really wasn't worth spending alot of money, so checked out Argos for the cheapest one we could find. This one was on offer with £5 off at just under £25 so a good price for a lawnmower. We reserved it online and collected it later that day.
It comes in a box, and all you have to do is attach the handle, which seemed a fairly simple process for my 'not at all technical' husband!
The blades are already fixed on, and it comes with a large pack of spare ones which is good.
Upun using it, we were very impressed with its grass cutting ability - our grass had got a few inches long and it did a good job of cutting it. You had to go over it a couple of times, but it got there in the end. Its not too noisy, and the power cord is plenty long enough for a small garden (10 metres).
Its easy to use and is faily lightweight at approx 7kg.
Its quite small so it stores away easily.
All in all were were very pleased with this lawnmower, considering the price we paid for it.
Its more than adequate for cutting a small lawn and we can highly recommend it.
Summary: Very pleased with this product
