I have had two of these mowers now, first one caught fire and I thought I was unlucky so I bought another 1.
Had the mower about 15 months and guess what.
It catches fire again, melts all the plastic bits underneath.
Steer clear of this mower, in fact I am going to steer clear of this manufacturer altogether now.

Spring is here, and the lawn is looking pretty ragged after a long, wet winter. Time to rummage around in the shed, dust off your rusty electric mower...and probably discover it's as dead as a dodo! If, like mine, your old mower hasn't made it into 2001 intact, it's time to head off to the garden centre or DIY store before that grass gets completely out of control! The Compact 330 is a new rotary offering from Flymo that's worth considering as the solution to your lawn-mowing woes. The 330 would suit a medium-sized lawn of arond 1.5 tennis courts in area. Open the rather large box, and you'll find the 330 essentially ... Read the complete review

If I’m being totally honest with you, gardening isn’t my favourite thing in the world (or at least it didn’t used to be!) I used to really hate mowing my lawn. The garden itself isn’t all that big really, so the maintenance of it isn’t too bad – it was just the whole palaver of cutting the grass with my older (and poorer) lawn mower, then the faffing about having to rake up all the grass. I just really, really detested the whole thing. Now, my parents have recently moved home, and they have a very (very) small garden. My dad thought that his lawnmower was just too big for them to use, so he very kindly gave me his Flymo ... Read the complete review

It is amazing how a bit of sun brings out a vague feeling of manliness that seems to compel men everywhere to dig the lawnmower out of the back of the shed. I am no exception and I have just finished mowing my lawn for the second time in just a few weeks. Something of a first for me as I usually wait for the lawn to reach record breaking heights. However, the purchase of my shiny new flymo coupled with an unusually warm few weeks have turned me into a veritable Charlie Dimmock (ok, I know she is a woman but she is the only gardener I know!). The Flymo Turbo Compact 330 Mower is a joy to use for the most part. There is no assembly required other than ... Read the complete review

Hi All and thanks for reading this. I have two small-medium size lawns. One is 30'x 10' and the other is 20' x 10'. I didn't have a lawnmower so I visited the local DIY "Superstore" for advice and to spend some of my hard earned cash. My requirements were simple and nothing new or revolutionary. I wanted a lawnmower that would cut my lawn quickly, easily and with the minimum of fuss. Something small, agile and one that COLLECTS GRASS. After about five minutes of small-talk it was decided that the solution would be an ?Advanced grass collecting hover mower.? The Flymo 350 Turbo Compact Vision Hover mower. This was a special ...
