My partner and I were bought this lawn mower when we moved into our house 4 years ago. It has to be said I don't have tons of experience with lawn mowers, but this one does the job nicely. You start it by pressing a button in the centre of the handle and squeezing one the levers at either side of the handle, and off you go. If you release the lever the mower stops, which is a good safety feature, and you can't start it again without pressing the central button. It's a hover mower so is easy to use, and it collects the grass cuttings as you go and compresses them into the grassbox (which holds 30 litres). When the grassbox is full the mower gets a bit heavy so it's obvious it needs emptying even without the indicator.

This mower works well and my lawn looks nice and even when it's been cut, and there's the option of changing the cutting height. It's quite a heavy mower though, and when I'm carrying it round to the front lawn I find it unwieldly (I'm short though, only 5 foot 1). It's also heavy when it's full of grass, and because of the boxy shape it's not brilliant for getting into corners or around curves. It's a good product though, and seems to have little trouble even when the grass is really long. As it's Flymo it's also easy to source spare parts if they're needed.

To sum up, it's a good mower for medium to large lawns but if you had a smaller lawn then a lighter mower may be better.
