As we live on a steep hill we needed a replacement mower which would cope with our unusual garden. So we did our homework, read the reviews and decided to choose a Flymo mower very similar to our last one - which had cut the same lawns for 20 years with no problems. Unfortunately, on using the mower for the second time, to finish the ... Read the complete review

I know it's a bit cheeky really, but we have two lawn mowers in our house. We live right in the middle of a row of terraces with a long walk round from the front to the back of our house. So rather than bringing a lawn mower through the house to do the front garden, we store the Flymo Turbo Lite mower in the garage out front! ... Read the complete review

No matter how small you piece of grass at home, a little mower makes no difference than a big mower. Its all about the cut quality you get. Sure, if you have 20 Sq ft of grass in your back garden, a huge 7 gang Tractor driven unit is not going to benefit you. But buying this, miniscule mower will be about the same value to you. ... Yes, its that time of year again… I recently managed to pluck up the resolve and willpower to turn a jaundiced eye on my back garden and more exactly my lawn. (Or should that be unkempt patch of misshapen lumps and bumps and hummocks of grass?) The nagging mistress of the house finally got her way and persuaded me that it was time ... The Flymo Turbo Lite is a reasonably-priced nifty little electric mower without the trimmings, that does the job adequately. We have quite a large garden with much of it lawned and when we first moved in our house the grass was around knee height. The Turbo Lite stuggled a bit with this length (note a strimmer may come in useful if your grass ... Read the complete review

is this the most pathetic mover you have ever seen, i mean look at it. My neighbour has this and you cant help but laugh at his attempts to mow his lawn. He is the type of person who spends most of their retirement hours tending to his holyer than thous garden, but while he constantly struggles to keep the power cord out of the way i find it hard ... It's orange, it floats on a cushion of air, and it cuts the grass! Thats pretty much how owning a Flymo goes, but this is a great little mower, and seems to chomp its way through my so called lawn (with all its weeds!) with great ease, and the metal blade "mulches" the cuttings, saving me a lot of time and effort as it chops the ... I was looking for a new mower, i didn't want something too expensive, or too heavy. I saw the Flymo Turbo Lite in the Argos catalogue, so i decided to buy it, As it sounded like just what i needed.
