It was later that we encountered some problems which i will detail now. Firsty, it is quite hard to start and for that reason the engine can become flooded will petrol quite easily. Secondly, the pull cord is quite tempremental, in fact the entire start mechanism came away from the engine and so we had to have it replaced. But touch woo...more

This being the cheapest rotary lawn mower on sale at Argos, I decided to buy it. The speical offer price was the main incentive - not only do you get a rotary mower with a grass collecter, they throw in Power Devil rotary strimmer too! Bargain or what???? Unfortunately after 9 months I think What???? is probably the best answer. Both products are both just about still working but I have seen better build quality in the plastic toys that come out of crackers. The strimmer has had to be taken apart to resolder some wires and the cutting line tends to fall off the bottom and go flying off down the garden! The lawn mower still works well but after mowing it looks ...  Read the complete review

We bought this mower as a replacement for the old electric one a while back. The first few occasions we used it all was fine, it moved the lawn perfectly, the grass boxed held on properly and only needed emptying twice and we have a pretty large garden. Our garden is on a hill and it was no problem pushing the lawnmover up the hill and maneuvering it round the edges of the lawn. The lever is easy to press in to make the mower operate and the rail is adjustable for the height of the user. It was later that we encountered some problems which i will detail now. Bought this mower from Additions Direct a few days ago - just managed to get round to using it today and i've packed it back in the box and am sending it back. This mower is absolutely pants - it's got a collection box on the back to supposedly collect grass but half of my cut grass is lying in clumps on my lawn! As the previous review - i had to keep stopping because the blade kept getting stuck - having to then turn the mower on its side and pull out all the grass that was stuck - dangerous! I don't have anything good to say about this mower apart from it is cheap but now i know why - it doesn't do as it says. I already have a mower but it doesn't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Best Mower I have owned. (110 words)

I bought one of these mowers when I was really hard up, about 5 years ago, and I have to say that it is the best mower I have owned! I live on a farm and my back lawn has been seeded with meadow grass seed so really needs to be grazed! it is very thick and lush, this little mower has worked it's heart out (if it had one) and only just recently died, it has cut thick grass regularly, and because the grass is so dense you can imagine how damp it is, and it has never faltered, I am now about to buy another one, what better ...  Read the complete review

power, performance maneuverabilityservicing costs

Cuts grass quietly and efficiently. Too small grass box.

orange colour Difficult to manoeuvre, hates to hurt the grass and as much power as a gnats bottom burp..

Extra hovering power means it's easy to manoeuvre. Freedom from long cables. 50 cm cut width Heavy when turned off. Quite expensive compared to electric. It's a rotary, so forget bowling greens

Good coverage Longer cable?

It cuts the grass. You don't. You need to store it near a plug to charge it.
