My personal advice, perhaps spend a little bit more money for something a little bit better. (Power Devil PDG4029 Rotary)

Advantages: Large grass box, a very good cut when it is working ok. Disadvantages: can be hard to start, pouring the petrol in can get messy. We bought this mower as a replacement for the old electric one a while back. The first few occasions we used it all was fine, it moved the lawn perfectly, the grass boxed held on properly and only needed emptying twice and we have a pretty large garden. Our garden is on a hill and it was no problem pushing the lawnmover up the hill and maneuvering it round the edges of the lawn. The lever is easy to press in to make the mower operate and the rail is adjustable for the height of the user. It was later that we encountered some problems which i will detail now. Firsty, it is quite hard to start and for that reason the engine can become flooded will petrol quite easily. Secondly, the pull cord is quite tempremental, in fact the entire start mechanism came away from the engine and so we had to have it replaced. But touch wood nothing else has happened since. It is a budget petrol lawnmower liken to the Nissan Micra of the car world, it does it's job but it's not always without its difficulties and so for that reason i rate it a 6/10. Summary: A budget lawnmower, a step up from my old electric one that's for sure but not without its faults |
