OKI C 7100 ... the office. Designed to offer users mono printing without compromise, plus offering affordable fast color. Now there is no need for separate mono and color printers in the office. Printing mono pages from the C7100 series color printer will cost no more than the average mono desktop printer.

Unlike conventional laser color printers, whose multi-pass technology takes each page around the imaging drum 4 times to achieve full CMYK color, the new Oki printers use an innovative and compact Digital LED system with four in-line Digital LED heads and image drums. The result is faster throughput and more precise registration of colors. In addition, Oki's new 'oil-less' toner, produced by mixing wax into toner particles, results in a simpler toner consumable which gives an elegant finish and excellent quality particularly when utilizing media such as transparencies. Oki's new dedicated graphics accelerator, the MEGA-Chip (Multiple & Exclusive Graphic Accelerator) delivers high-speed processing and color management, RIP processing and data compression. This technology complements Oki's Single Pass Color Technology to achieve professional color output. Automatic color calibration process built into the C7100 series printer ensures color registration with precision; and a new feature that stabilizes the amount of light emitted by the Digital LED heads delivers the highest print quality.
