Foot exfoliator, cleanser and moisturiser all in 1
I love Avon products and always look forward to receiving a catalogue; I also love anything that pampers my feet and always try the new Avon products for feet. This product features am easy to use screw lid on a nice sized tubular container. To use damp your foot, squeeze a small amount of the cream onto your hand and work into the foot, I do so in a small circular motion paying particular attention to the rough areas. On first impression the product is a buff coloured lotion, as you handle it you discover the tiny exfoliation beads. Probably meant to be used occasionally or once a week, I use it about one every two weeks. The cream rinses off easily, but the beads do dwell a bit. I do feel the need for a moisturiser afterwards as well.
I wonder if the beads are sand? Or sand mixed with something, so if you live near the beach a walk in the sea is probably a more pleasurable treat.
The fragrance is subtle and reminds me of the sea.
What I like about it:
Easy to use and nice fragrance.
What I don't like:
Does not quite hit the mark.
Quick maintenance exfoliation.
People who live near the sea,
Price and Availability: Usual price is £5.00 for 75ml tube, however Avon frequently have offers on Foot Works products. I bought this in an offer of 3 items for £5.00! Available via a Representative from the Avon Catalogue, Avon on-line, Sometimes outlets such as eBay or Amazon (see the Dooyoo links).
6 months on: I have a second tube of this that I cannot get around to using ;(
I bought this along with two other footworks items from Avon last month. The tube is usually £5 but they currently have an offer where by you can get three items from the sane range for £5.
My feet have been in flip flops and sandals for the last few weeks owing to the nice weather. My feet have really taken a bashing they have gone really dry and sore. The balls of my feet were also starting to get a build up of skin which was becoming sore.
The product comes in a tube containing 75ml. The scrub is described as an all in one pedicure. The back of the tube tells me that it softens, moisturises and fragrances in one step.
To use the scrub you are directed to massage into dry feet and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
The scrub is creamy white and you can see bits of pumice stone as well as other grainy bits. It has a minty fresh smell, it smells very much like peppermint. The first times I used this I was suprised at how full of bits it was, it had a very course consistency and as I massaged it in the grains were still very evident and didn't dissolve like other scrubs I have tried. I spent about 3 minutes on each foot paying particular attention to my heels and the balls of my feet. After I had scrubbed away I used to shower to rinse away the grains. It did take a while to rinse this stuff off, it got caught in between my toes and I kept stepping on more in the base of the shower. After spending a while rinsing I patted my feet dry as recommended on the tube.
After using this I could see a difference to my battered feet. They also felt cool and relaxed. The only thing with this product was I didn't find it particularly moisturising. I still followed on with the overnight cream I have been using.
This is a good product and I would buy it again, I keep forgetting to use it but when I do it makes my feet a lot smoother and more sandal ready. I have had this about 3 weeks and I think I have used it 5-6 times so there is still a lot left in the tube a little goes a long way.
4 out of 5 from me I would buy it again particularly when it is on offer.
