Another foot cream I bought after loosing a different one, somewhere in our house!! haha
Design of packaging:
This comes in a tube that stands on its lid. The tube is white with 3 big foot prints over the front of it in dark purple, lilac and blue. So does now look different to the picture above. The words "Avon, Foot Works, Beautiful, All In One Pedicure" are written across the front of the tube. This really doesn't tell you exactly what the product is, more what it should do. The back of the tube has a ridiculous amount of text on it and I and I actually had to use a magnifying glass to read the details (my eyes aren't that bad usually). The back tells you "Softens, moisturises and fragrances in one step". The tube is very soft and when you squeeze it, slightly too much comes out. The lid is clear and as too much comes out, there is often a gunky residue left in the lid that is visible through the clear plastic. The lid screws on quite tightly though so won't fall off.
Use and results:
The back of the tube tells you to "Rub in to feet thoroughly. Rinse with warm water and towel dry." The cream is white with pieces of brown grain though it, so it is more of an exfoliator than a foot cream. The grains are really small though to if you were using this to remove dry skin you wouldn't be able to remove much. The cream is also very light and if you were using this to moisturise your feet they also wouldn't be very replenished. The scrub does feel nice when you rub it in to your feet but it is messy so I now use this in the shower to contain the mess. This claims to be an all in one pedicure but I really don't feel it gets enough dry skin off or moisturises enough, so when I feel like an extra treat I use my foot file, then use this scrub in the shower then also use a separate foot cream after. As an extra stage in the pedicure process I am happy with it but it is definitely not a one stop tube.
This has a strong minty scent and also smells like soap. A strange combination as it feels like I have polo mints and dove soap on my feet. Not very refreshing.
I take 3 stars off as this does not live up to it's claim of being an "all in one pedicure" and as the text is so hard to read on the tube. But will give it 2 stars as it can still be used as part of a full pedicure process and only cost 99p so at that price is reasonable for a light foot scrub.
I got this from Avon when it was in the sale one time, I think it only cost me about 99p which is a really good deal for something that works this good.
I am a big fan of the footworks range from Avon, as every product I have used from there has always been fantastic and I can't fault it.
Not only does the range work well, but the prices are great, too.
This cream works really well. I smother this all over my feet before bed, and then put on some socks to keep the moisture in.
The next morning my feet feel really soft and full of moisture. I'm happy to say that they don't smell bad after using this either, this has a light fragrance to it but nothing I can easily identify.
I have found a real bargain with these cream and would recommend this without a doubt. It is definitely worth buying and I would buy it again. There is 75ml in the tube and it lasted me about three weeks if I use it everyday. You only need to use it about three times a week, though, and your feet will soon become beautiful :)
