Advantages: Smells lovely, easy to apply
Disadvantages: I can't think of any
I love getting pedicures so when I seen that Avon were launching a new footscrub I immedietly bought it. (It did help that it was also on offer)
When I first used it I was happy to see that it was quite gritty (some of the scrubs I have used in the past have a few bits of grit - not good for sloughing away at anything!
But the basics ...
The packaging is quite plain (true Avon style) but there is nothing wrong with that. Quite pleasent to look at and its normally chucked under the bathroom cabinet anyway. All ingredients are listed on the back.
The smell is just devine, so yummy, I just wanted to eat it! Its not too strong but its strong enough that the smell lingers on your feet for a little while (if that makes sense)
Now, I am a trainee beautician so I give pedicures on a daily basis so I am used to professional products. When I used this I honestly thought that it was on par with some of the bigger (more expensive!!) brands.
You need the smallest amount to get a good coverage and it massages well into the feet. It feels so gentle but at the same time you can feel that its getting rid of all that horrible hard skin. Its also nice just to sit back and massage your poor tired feet for a while (or try to convince some else too!)
This product also rinses off very easily and does not leave any residues on your feet. I then normally finish off with the moisturiser from the same range and put on a pair of socks to allow it all to soak in. When I remove them my feet are so soft, and they smell devine!
I will mention though that my mum can not stand the smell of vanilla and this product made her feel ill. So may be worth giving it a miss if you are the same.
Summary: Ultimate pampering for those poor tired tootsies!
