      Give your feet a treat

It always surprises me how much better I feel if I look after my feet, and with this cream my feet feel very well looked after.

It's an overnight treatment which I tend to use after a hard day shopping when my feet feel bashed and tired. The best approach is to smear lots of it on and put on a big pair of fluffy socks on to keep the cream where it should be. I tend to do this as soon as I get in rather than waiting for bedtime and I find that the cream continues to moisturise all night too.

The cream costs £3.86 for 50ml. It's a fairly small pot but it does last a long time because you don't need to use it that often and you only put it on your feet. I think the price is pretty good for what you get, especially as Botanics products are often on offer. Currently on buy one get one half price so now is the time to buy!

The packaging is very much as you would expect of a Botanics product - simple with no frills and a green and white label. The tub is plastic with a metal lid and functions perfectly well.

The packaging brags that it refreshes and moisturises tired and cracked feet, and that it contains grapeseed oil to hydrate. On closer inspection (under a peel-off label that doesn't seem to want to peel off) the list of ingredients is quite long with some sounding nicer and more natural than others. Almond oil, cocoa butter, peppermint oil and lemon oil are just a few of the ingredients. One of the reasons I like Botanics products is because they use natural plant extracts and this cream doesn't let you down there.

The cream itself is bright white and the first thing you notice is the smell which is fairly strong. The best way to describe it is that it smells like foot cream....It's a nice smell but somehow I wouldn't want to use it on any other part of my body because it smells like foot cream. Very minty and fresh with nutty undertones.

It's a very thick cream which seems to be absorbed better if you rub it in quite well - this also gives your feet a bit of a massage which is always nice. It does still work well if you just leave it though. The nice thing about it for tired feet is that it feels really cold when you put it on. After a long day with lots of walking my feet are very hot and they really appreciate the cooling effects. When I use it I instantly feel refreshed and a lot happier! It really feels like a treat to use this cream and put some lovely soft socks and slippers on!

It moisturises really well and leaves feet feeling wonderfully soft by morning - they'll be ready for another shopping trip before you know it! It really does make your feet feel so much nicer - none of that nasty hard skin and none of that tired and battered feeling.

Before I bought this cream my feet would get neglected and I didn't even realise what I was missing out on. They get a lot of serious abuse - not just from the shopping, but I'm often on my feet all day anyway and I now feel like I was being quite mean to them not looking after them properly. I use this cream around once a week and with happier feet I'm a happier person!

You use them a lot so it makes sense to look after them!
