Dry skin on my feet are something of a problem for me. I therefore use a good quality moisturiser from Boots called Gorgeous Feet Intensive Moisturiser. For me, this works very well at ridding my hard, dry cracked skin, though it is gentle at the same time.
It comes in a glass jar, which I prefer it in a tube container. It costs £4.99 but is long lasting.
The cream is very thick in consistency and is absorbed well into the feet of my skin. I like to use this most evenings after washing and not just as a once a week treat.
This cream works best when it is used very regularly – this is why I use it most nights.
It will work better if used in conjunction with a pumice stone or other skin remover beforehand.
The smell of this cream is for me a let down. It is too sweet smelling and not floral or scented as I had imagined it might have been.
The smell lingers for a long time after application. I feel that the smell is quite sickly sweet smelling and is perhaps, the only thing which lets this cream down.
On the flip side, the cream itself is hard working and goes a long way to restoring the look, feel and tone of the skin on my feet, especially along the back of the heels where the cracks are most obvious.
This cream definitely works for me and is a good price and so I would have to say that I do recommend it.
My feet always look really dry, so I'm enjoy trying out lots of different foot products, all in the name of research to find the perfect one!
This product is sold exclusively in Boots, you will find in near the pharmacy items rather than near bodycare, along with other foots products such as those by Scholl.
I purchased this along with two other items on three for two, indivdually this would have cost me about £5, but it is regularly on some sort of offer.
The moisturiser is very thick, I was suprised as to how thick it was! It has a lovely relaxing smell, I'm not sure what all the perfumes used are, but there is definately some vanilla in there.
You don't need to apply much moisturiser to feel the effects, it sinks into to your feet and for quite a while afterwards your feet feel absolutely gorgeous. However, it isn't completly absorbed into your feet which isn't great if you're wanting to put shoes on because unless you're wearing socks your feet slide all over the place. For this reason I tend to apply it before going to bed.
The moisturiser does'nt have a massive effect on the really dry parts of my feet (heels and toes) but it does leave the rest of my feet really soft and looking well moisturised, especially if used for a few days in row.
I would buy this again if it was on offer as combined with other products in the range it moisturises very well, you do need to use the other products if you have particularly dry skin on your toes or heels.
My feet were not summer ready! I had heaps of dry, cracked skin, cracked nails and I have been splashing out on gladiator sandals and flip flops of late. It wasn't till I went to put a pair on the other day I looked down at my feet and thought ah oh what am I going to do oh my God arggghhh! I can't bear these slabs of meat to the world......just yet....I need help lol! Bootsssssssss................Here I come..........
After browsing in the store for an age I purchased a 50ml tub of this rather than 150ml and I got mine for £1.99 opposed to £5.99 for the larger size cos I simply wanted to see if it worked before splashing out on something and I didn't have alot of faith anything would work to be perfectly honest with you!!
So my tub is as I said 50ml in size and made of glass and is round with a shell pink shimmery screw on/off lid to the top of it. On the front there is a light pink sticky label on there and on that in black and white writing I'm told it's Boots Gorgeous Feet Deeply Intensive Moisturiser 'For soft, smooth, rich hydration that lasts 24 hrs'. Around the back of the label contact details are given for Boots, size and the recycle symbol are displayed and finally there is bar-code on there. Pull the label back and ingredients are listed.
This is simply gorgeous for real! I'm so impressed with it! Undo the pot and you will see a white, glossy, creamy lotion/cream. I say lotion/cream cos it isn't runny and it isn't thick either just a really nice consistency! Smell wise it's totally amazing! More feminine than male I'd say and is sweet and creamy and to my nose smells like freshly whipped ice-cream! It's delicious with a hint of vanilla and just gorgeous! Really! It's a yummy treat to use!
A little goes a long way of this silky moisturiser. It absorbs really quickly leaving no visual or feeling of residue and leaves the skin feeling amazingly soft and hydrated and as promised once rubbed onto the feet they feel hydrated (not one bit greasy) for 24 hours (in my case I felt longer than that!).
So what I did is I used this intensive moisturiser on clean feet after showering/bathing in the morning for a whole week. Now I use this once a week just to keep my feet in tip top condition!
Use it as often as you wish but this really is caring and moisturising and I don't feel I need to use this regularly which makes this an incredibly economical product to use. Let your feet go to rank if you wanna, this is a real quick fix solution and after just one use of it I could visibly see the difference and feel it. I have absolutely no rough, dry cracked skin on my feet, Ive lost that tight feeling in my skin as well and even my nails feel and look stronger.
This really has changed how I feel about my feet! Whilst it's on it feels amazing and you can wear shoes or whatever without breaking your neck with this on your feet and they smell beautiful! In the long term you don't have to use it often I just use it weekly now as I mentioned earlier to keep any problems I've had in the past from re-appearing but feel if I did suddenly have a problem with rough/dry/cracked skin again (which I feel I won't!) this is an on the spot remedy! Even my mates asked me what I'd done to my feet thinking I'd cheated and gone to a beauty salon after moaning so much about them! lol. Now everyone knows about this miracle in pot believe me!
A really excellent solution for parched skin, easy to use, easy to wear and works amazingly well and is so very simple to use it's unreal. A great at home salon inspired treatment...this is!
Only available in Boots!

I am always on the look out for bargains. I got this Boots Gorgeous Feet 'Incredibly Intensive Moisturiser' on a buy one product and get a second product, in the same range, for half price.
I bought this along with the 'cracked heel repair' (which I am absolutely delighted with) and I was looking forward to using this foot moisturer.
The foot moisturiser comes in a clear plastic pot with a peach coloured, screw off lid. There is a picture of a pair of ankles and feet on top of the lid.
When I unscrewed the lid there was a clear plastic covering over the moisturiser. This lifted off easily for me. As with the other products in this range, there is a delicate peachy fragrance from this foot moisturiser.
The moisturiser looks slightly whipped and it is pure white in colour. When I rubbed a small amount, between my thumb and finger, it felt light to touch and just slightly greasy.
The instructions on the pot said, that I should apply daily, in order to rapidly improve the appearance of the skin on my feet.
When I applied this moisturiser, to my feet, it absorbed into my skin almost immediately. There was no greasy feel to my skin, but my skin did not feel very moisturised at all. I was a bit disappointed as this foot moisturiser hadn't done what I had expected it to do. It did leave the skin on my feet with a delicate fragrance but that was all.
As it said on the instructions that it should be used daily, I decided to continue using the moisturiser, to see what would happen. I did apply the moisturiser for a further seven days and the skin on my feet did improve slightly. I have to say I was disappointed as I had expected a lot more from this foot moisturiser.
It says on the front of the pot that it is an 'incredibly intensive moisturer' and that it gives 'instant moisturisation that lasts for 24 hours'.
In my opinion this product does not live up to it's claims. It slightly moisturised the skin on my feet and it did not last for 24 hours.
This 150ml pot costs £4.29 from Boots. As I purchased it on an offer it cost me £2.15. I think even this amount was too much to pay.
The ingredients are all listed on the back of the pot. It also tells you that it has a 24 month shelf life.
